Description: I always like to carry this type of clock in stock as they are very attractive clocks that were made in the late 19th Century to a very high standard. As with this clock, the rosewood veneers have some wonderful rich colour and figuring. The lancet shape is a classic and highly popular design from the Regency period and the boxwood edging accentuates this stylish shape. The dials are fine white enamel on copper, they are bright with clean lines, clearly defined chapters with delicately cut blued steel hands making them very easy to read the time from. The clock movements were made to very high standards and keep good time. This clock has a light tick and particularly rich tone to the gong struck on the hours and half hours. They are smaller in size and their proportions make this type of clock very appealing and they easily fit into the home. As with all our stock, the movement has been fully dismantled, cleaned and overhauled. We give a full year guarantee. 10" (27 cm.) High
