Description: This is a very handsome mahogany wall clock with a fine and well proportioned turned surround to the brass bezel with integral silvered sight ring. The 12 ď diameter dial is well laid out with the twin track outer minute circle, bold Roman chapters and the spade pattern blued steel hands. The single fuse movement is well made and in good order. It has been fully cleaned and overhauled in our workshops. Pewsey started business in Lisle Street at the beginning of the 19th Century. There were three generations of clockmakers and the last, two brothers, had their workshop in Morden, Surrey. Lisle Street, Leicester Square, London, is now in the centre Londonís China Town. 15" (38 cm.) diameter
