Description: This is a superb eight day striking longcase regulator by this fine London maker who was situated in the heart of London's, and at this time probably the world's, most renowned centre of clockmaking. The case has a wonderful and rich figuring to the choice mahogany veneers. The mouldings are crisp and well defined and the overall proportions of this clock sets it well above the average clock. The dial is finely engraved and the movement, as one would expect for a clock of this calibre is substantially made with refined wheel work and Graham-type dead beat escapement. This is an elegant clock of wonderful quality and proportions. It has been fully overhauled and guaranteed. 80.1/2" (204 cm.) high, excluding finials
